The project

Vivienda Resort by Creato is where the desert meets the turquoise Red Sea. Situated in King Abdullah Economic City, this coastal destination offers a stunning collection of villas, a hotel, and apartments, redefining luxury living in Saudi Arabia.

The project is conceived as a low rise coastal community where private residences and shared amenities are woven into a landscape of palm, sand, and water. Every villa is oriented to capture sea breezes and frame views of the coastline, while the hotel and apartment blocks create a protected inner world of gardens, pools, and shaded walkways.

CREATO is leading the architectural design and engineering for the entire development. Our team shaped the master plan, the residential typologies, the landscape integration, and the coastal engineering response. Execution supervision is handled separately by the local construction team on site, with CREATO providing design continuity and technical guidance throughout the build.

Resort section

A longitudinal section reveals how the resort layers private villas, shared pools, and hospitality spaces into a single continuous landscape. The architecture steps down toward the water, opening every level to sea views while maintaining privacy between residences.

Residences

The villas

The villas are the heart of Vivienda Resort. Each residence is a two level composition of white sculpted volumes, deep shaded terraces, and full height glass that dissolves the line between interior and garden.

Cantilevered roof planes shade the upper bedrooms while timber soffits warm the arrival and terrace ceilings. Every villa opens onto its own stretch of water: private pools bleed into the shared lagoon, and planted edges keep each residence quiet and self contained.

Toward the shoreline the villas step down to the sand, where warm lighting traces the pool edges at dusk and the architecture becomes a soft lantern against the Red Sea horizon.
